The Newport News Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office U.P.R.I.S.E. Academy is a one-day immersive educational experience designed to give Newport News residents an inside look at the criminal justice system, the role of prosecutors, and the realities faced by victims and families. 

Through structured sessions and hands-on learning, participants gain a clearer understanding of how cases move through the justice system and the responsibilities of those involved.
